The Department of Fine Arts Education consists of two branches: Art and Crafts Education and Music Education. For each branch, the undergraduate program lasts four years and is conducted as daytime education.
The Department of Art and Crafts Education offers an Art and Crafts Teacher Education program. After completing their four-year undergraduate studies, graduates serve as Visual Arts teachers in primary and secondary education institutions under the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education. Additionally, they can find career opportunities in the private sector, such as advertising agencies and private art studios.
The Department of Music Education offers a Music Teacher Education program. Throughout this four-year program, students are prepared to serve as Music teachers in primary and secondary education institutions under the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education.
In addition to undergraduate programs, the department also offers graduate-level programs. The graduate program of the Department of Art and Crafts Education is conducted within the Institute of Educational Sciences.
